Parisa Foweles-Pazdro is an Iranian-Swedish entrepreneur. With a multicultural background, born in Iran, raised in Stockholm, lived in London, NYC and now at home in Los Angeles, Parisa has a unique sensibility which has always been drawn to the world of design. While studying in Stockholm, she had three jobs in fashion stores and managed to save enough to buy her first condo at the age of 19. She then renovated and sold it six months later and moved to London to buy another. With a drive and determination to start her own business, Parisa made the move to NYC before landing in LA and launching her company Max-Bone in 2017. Her love for fashion, art and design, and their influences show in her own work and aspirations. Parisa built Max-Bone to cultivate a well-designed lifestyle for pet owners, with coveted products that fit seamlessly into anyone’s home, closet and environment. As the first branded pet label, Max-Bone follows culture, not trends, combining influences from fashion, art and architecture with upscale functionality to deliver apparel, toys, beds, leashes and more that are effortlessly elegant. The pieces from her brand can be found all over the world, and are favored by celebrities including Gwyneth Paltrow, Oprah, Reese Witherspoon, Emily Ratajkowski, and Kylie Jenner. From fundraising to hiring a team, Parisa has led her company into partnerships with brands like Disney and VistaJet, e-commerce and brick-and-mortar locations, over 200 retailer partners worldwide including Nordstrom and Neiman Marcus, and online editorial partners like Goop. Built as the future for the pet world, Parisa is on a mission to provide pet families with pieces that are both timeless and sophisticated.
